Nordenham upon the Weser
Nordenham, founded in 1908, is situated on the left bank of the Weser.

Wilhelm Mueller, a dynamic wholesaler, set there a loading point for cattle export to London and Hull for the Norddeutscherlloyds.



He also took part to the river link between between Bremen and Bremerhaven.

Vegesack upon the Weser, 1955

Weserstrasse
Vegesack (36.000 inh.), is located just before Bremen, on the right bank of the Weser.

First artificial harbor on the Weser, there is also a shipyard. It is also a business and administrative location.

It is now the registry port of the school-ship Schulschiffe Deutschland.
